How satisfying is it when you know your accommodation & flights are paid for to a great destination. We LOVE Melbourne and are heading there are again in July for a few days to enjoy the shopping, the food and just the luxury of staying in a hotel. I’ll definitely post some pics up when we return. Hi all,
Anyone who knows me knows that I am not the most fabulous cook. Can do the odd special dish, actually they are not that special so I won’t mention them! I’m deciding to cook SM a favourite dish of hers tonight – vegetable & tofu noodle soup. All ingredients are purchased (as per recipe).
I don’t think I can go too wrong…

Hi all,
What plans do you have for the weekend? This one hopefully for us will have a little down time, especially if I cannot immerse myself in a DIY project for just one weekend! Maybe do a little cooking and a little vignetting. Am interested in seeing the new Danish thriller movie – The Hunt
and catching the fashion show at the Marrickville Town Hall – Round She Goes.

Hi all,
With Mum now settled back in her home and us getting back to our normal routine, I was very happy to come home today and look at all the flowers I (Mum) planted in the garden. It is SO beautiful here in Sydney today so I couldn’t resist getting out the camera and taking some shots of our ‘outdoors’. Our home is a work in progress and I believe it should be that way forever. Creating, learning, doing. Makes me smile. Happy Tuesday all.

I don’t know the name of this plant (Mum would) and it is at the entrance to our front door, still alive!

Hi all,
I’ve not been able to post for a week as Mum was in town. I drove her home today (2 hrs +) and I am now back in Sydney. I spent so much time preparing, making sure everything was just so, now that I am home I’m not quite sure what to do with myself (there is a song in there somewhere). We had a great time together as a family, celebrating mothers day and as predicted, we shopped at stores such as The Bowerbird, Rozelle Markets and That Vintage Shop. We gossiped, drank too much coffee & too much wine. But, it was fabulous and we had some of those belly aching laughs that are one of life’s greatest.
